What is GST Notice Reply?

GST notices are mostly machine-generated — 2A/2B-vs-3B credit mismatches (ASMT-10/DRC-01C), 1-vs-3B liability gaps (DRC-01B), late-filing and e-way bill flags — and they resolve on evidence, not argument. The correct reply is a reconciliation that explains each rupee of difference, filed within the notice window (often just 7–15 days), paying only what is genuinely due via DRC-03.

What we do first, always: read the notice the same day, confirm the real deadline, and triage what is defensible versus what should simply be paid to stop interest. Panic responses and ignored deadlines both convert small automated queries into full-blown demands with penalty — the middle path is exactly the job here.
